I’ve entered both the locator and the 125 ticket number and on both occasions it calls up the booking. When I enter the seat numbers it says “added to cart £0.00” so it recognises me as an Emerald but I couldn’t find anywhere to check out.
I’ve also tried the Finnair app that has allowed me to change the seats on the HEL-TLL-HEL legs (which now show on the BA app) but no joy on the LHR-HEL-LHR legs.
I wonder if it’s because they haven’t decided which aircraft to use? The flight is next April.
There is some sort of glitch - we have had the same on Finnair operated BA 125 tickets - says it's selected a seat but won't stick. I ended up waiting on the Finnair app chat to get this resolved and told them the seats we wanted which worked. Good luck
