While I don’t have a direct answer, considering that you can only ride the Seoul Metro with cash, I would not be surprised if that’s still the case. I inquired with Westin Josun last winter on the airport limo bus and was told I could purchase with international credit card from
the hotel but on-bus purchases would need to be in cash.
