Have upcoming flight connecting at ORD (single ticket). Domestic (YYZ preclearance) on AC to International on BR, with transfer from T2 to T5. Between terminal bus vs. ATS, is there one that is quicker?

Terminal Transfer Bus from gate B1 is probably faster as it’s fully airside. However, it only operates until 9:30 PM so if you’re later than that you’ll have to use the ATS and reclear security at T5.
Bags should be checked straight through from YYZ to TPE.
