Came here to find exactly this complaint!

So where would I find this? If I am tracking a flight that I am not on (so not in my reservations) is there no longer a way to click from the Flight Status screen directly to the map of where the plane is currently?

Must I really get the flight numbers and then go to Flight Aware separately? This functionality being removed is the single worst change to the app ever implemented.
