trying to book this hotel via Hilton Website and Hilton app, strangely when selecting a Flex rate (fully refundable up to 1 day prior) it is requesting me to enter the full credit card details and later attempts to take the full amount. Normally this only happens for pre-paid / non-refundable rates.

Does anyone else face this problem ? holding off booking due to this and selected a flex rate at Conrad instead for SGD30 more.
