Can I transfer points from myself (Diamond status) to someone else (no status)? And can I do so without charge? If so, what is the process? The opposite direction for transfer would be acceptable too, if for some reason only that is possible.

I am fairly sure I received an email like the one from the original post here, but I can't locate it now. I don't know if that is relevant at all, though. If someone can remind me what the subject line for that email was, perhaps I can find it again.
