First time poster here so any guidance would be really appreciated. I have had a search through the forum and read through some WIKIs but don't seem to have found the answer to my specific situation below.A few months ago, my partner and I were on holiday in Selimiye. After we had already returned home (UK), we realised we had forgotten my partner's watch in the hotel. The hotel have kindly kept this safe for us until now.

This Sunday (30th June), I will be transiting at Istanbul Airport (IST) for approx. 5 hours (4am-10am) and I will be able to exit the airport if required. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas on how I can get the watch from the hotel (or Marmaris if easier) to Istanbul airport? Of course I'm happy to pay any costs.

One of the hotel staff have suggested they are happy to drive to Marmaris and send it via national post office and apparently there is 1 cargo company in Istanbul airport (UPS I believe?) who can potentially receive it. However, I'm not sure how reliable this service is or whether it will arrive in time by Sunday?

Or would it be easier and less hassle for the hotel to just post the package direct to my home (UK) from Marmaris?

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated! thank you
