It was due to weather, same reason why my other claim was accepted. They kept saying I had to prove to them that I bought the ticket with chase reserve. I sent them the Chinese info in RMB and the matching USD amount several times.
Weather is a covered event for hotel/food reimbursement. I’d send a message to Chase cc via your online account asking for the information about the charge on your Reserve. Then I’d refile the claim. Sounds like that is the issue.
