Agreed, economy doesn't get any better than a well designed seat with good legroom and padding. CX definitely wins on the consistency side and definitely treats their peasants better than other middle eastern airlines like EK or QR
For the soft product, yes it's not amazing but compare it with QR's (especially on the food front) and you'll know what I mean
CX has always been good at customizing the of shelf product to add extra touches that other airlines dont have
The CX economy seat is far superior to other airlines.
