An aircraft change has led to an enforced downgrade as the original cabin is not available. The booking is a travel agent one and made through BA with 125 issued tickets and BA flight numbers operated by Qatar. BA have told the travel agent that the refund for the downgrade (just a straight cash refund, nothing to do with UK261) cannot be processed until after the flight.
Does anyone know if this is true that I have to wait 4 months?
