Is the lounge access 3 hours before the flight rule fairly universal now? Asking for those who get access via credit cards, rather than flying business class or have airline´s top tier status.
The usual position in Europe, and certainly in DUB, both terminals, is the maximum stay on cards is 3 hours. For those connecting and relying instead on flying business class may get a wider tolerance if that's the deal with that airline. And you may get a bit of flexibility if it was say 3 hrs 15 minutes. But that won't take you to 5 hours, and in any case one would driven somewhat mad by DAA's lounges after such a long stay.
