The flight from China lands at ~6 PM Dallas time and know there are flights to NYC after that (and may of the routings take you to another US airport at ~8 PM). I'm guessing the ~7 PM last flight to NYC is too tight of a connection even if booked separately?
There's a flight to PHL from DFW that works. You can then take a train to NYC.
