please also keep in mind if you change the name on the reservation and the name does not match the bonvoy number then you risk no credit so if you do want your name on it, then id switch the reservation to yours at checkout and add your bonvoy account so you get the credit...keep the plat number at check in and add your name as a guest so you can check in before your friend and at checkout swap the name and account to yours but do not book a prepaid so you get charged for the room and can then expense it if needed.
