Had the misfortune this afternoon of arriving at LAX assuming that I would have access to the brand new Air France lounge in the Tom Bradley terminal’s new west gates complex. Made the trek out there and was politely told that it’s only for AF & KL passengers, but should have access to the OneWorld business lounge.

Trekked back to the main terminal complex and the OneWorld desk agent said that ITA could only use the Korean lounge. I shook my head and told her that the Korean lounge is a dump, and I’ll never go there again.

Is this the best ITA can do? If I hadn’t wasted so much time wandering around only to be rejected at every turn, I would have simply gone to the Centurion Lounge and called it a day.
