I recently spent a Friday night here and found it to be a mixed experience.
The good:
- I was proactively upgraded to a deluxe room in the tower with the club lounge, but when I checked in, I was offered a choice between that or a premier corner room on the top floor of the other tower. We went with the premier room.
- The $25 destination fee was a good deal for us as we had planned to go to the Chihuly Museum (saving us $60+) and get there by Uber (saving us $10). We also stopped by their bar for a nightcap (saving us another $25). We also selected a bag of chips and a big Kit Kat bar from the Market Pantry which made for a nice unhealthy snack for the drive the next day.
The bad:
- I had to figure out how to reset the TV in our room in order to get Netflix to work.
- The room was stocked with two cheap plastic glasses total.
- The shampoo in the shower was empty.
- No laundry bag in the closet
- They had some sort of night light built into the bathroom mirror, which might have been cool had it worked. Instead, it just flickered from time to time.
Upon checking out, I told the agent that while I appreciated the upgrade, I didn’t appreciate the negative items listed above. She was empathetic and apologized and said she would get me some points. I’m still waiting but not holding my breath.
I can confirm that weekend breakfast in the lounge is still continental, which was a little disappointing. Also, you can save a little money by parking in the US Bank garage across the street.
