I always check my rate to make sure it's correct which is easy to do on the app, esp if I'm waiting for the rate to update. No one is (at least I'm not) saying you should leave rate not updated/fixed and to be resolved at check in. Just that it can take some time, and there's no need to keep asking until you are really close to check in time.
Yes, but my point for the second issue was that Hyatt didn’t do anything to help which could easily be the case for if they never change the rate.
As for the first what I said is just what Hyatt said is to contact if and only if the rate has not reverted 48 hours until check in.
