Thanks. Sort of what I thought. Things have gotten better in that I've been able to get Hilton to combine FNC and points into a single reservation and even swap a FNC in place of points into an existing reservation without canceling...and that had not previously been possible, so there was hope.

Then again, this will be a booking for a little while, so maybe more will be possible by then.
