Got rejected for hotel reimbursement for my flight last yr In China. It took 8 months and I found they closed the case without telling me. I can't remember if I had posted here before. Not happy as the plane was delayed 8 hours. It seems problem was they couldnt read Chinese and the reasoning the airline gave me. I can't think of any other reason why I'd be rejected.

I tried once In us and received reimbursement, once in China and was denied. I feel uncomfortable relying on reimbursement now since 90% of my travel is out of the US and not all airlines will give excuses in English. I also paid for the flight on a Chinese 3rd party sites in Chinese so maybe that was the reason too, they couldn't tell that I had paid w my reserve even though I sent the Ctrip (ie Chinese screenshot in RMB which equated to usd on chase acct).

Not happy.
