This SWU expired in December, and I changed the same PNR 2 or 3 different times this year after the SWU expired.
What a nightmare. I thought I successfully made a change by carrying over a SWU (was clear to not use new ones) since the agent seemed to reticket me very smartly yesterday.
Woke up today and saw 2 new SWUs (party of 2) pulled from my account. I called and inquired and AA telling me that yes they see I was originally in business class, upgraded, but apparently the SWU hadn't been properly pulled from my account before expiry ... And as such, 2 new ones were taken by the system. Now they sent me to AAdvantage for resolutions....
