Gosh that is an awful long time to receive luggage. Was it something specific about yours, or was the whole belt delayed in arriving? I've never seen it take an hour, let alone an hour and three quarters, on any airline (including TK). I'd chalk it up to a total aberration. 2 hours should be fine at any arrival airport 99% of the time; but I agree that leaving 3 would be safer, especially because there could be delays -- NOT because I'd worry about such a lengthy wait for checked baggage.
