It got much better after "swiching" nationalities: I'm now UK rather than British. And I sailed through the e-gates.


Importantly I also sailed through them EXITING the country on Air Asia through T2. here note the gates again appear to be for Malaysian nationals only, until you get closer and see reference to other nationalities
