Traveling with my family in lufthansa business class from us to europe. A few hours after checking in and getting boarding passes with the right seats, I noticed that my seat had involuntarily changed and I’m now several rows away from my family.

what’s strange is that this happened before in business and in first all in the last year.

a few of us are star gold too (through united) but that doesn’t seem to help protect against this.

why does this keep happening? Very frustrating
