Had a weeklong stay here in the middle of March and have really mixed feelings. The standout aspect here is the Barry the doorman who is A+ amazing. Super friendly, knows/memorizes your name, deserves a raise and to run the entire hotel. Treats guests like family.

At the price this hotel charges, you would expect a flawless luxury experience but unfortunately this place just falls short. Had 2 issues (first night, the heating didn't work) (second night in the new room, the bulk toiletries were not filled). Both times I expected proactive compensation but instead I was met with little to no attempts at service recovery until I insisted. They ended up giving Bonvoy points to make up for the inconvenience but I had to explicitly ask. This really should have been proactively offered. When the human process or equipment fails, the least you can do is offer compensation to make the situation right.

As a platinum, I was given an early check-in at 10AM on a Sunday which was appreciated. Chose breakfast rather than points as a welcome amenity and the breakfast voucher doesn't include gratuity but breakfast was high quality and enjoyable although it took forever for the servers to "setup" the table and take orders.

Rooms are pretty small especially the base room but after the first room had issues, I was upgraded to a better room with a bathtub for the rest of the stay which was appreciated.

Ultimately I booked this with the brand expectation of a luxury leisure hotel but it's actually catered to business travelers who have very low standard for luxury and are just using it for the location.
