Last year we had a technical problem on a flight MAD-DUB that made us all deboard and wait for a new plane. We were free to roam around the terminal and it took a couple of hours. When we boarded again we waited and waited and finally the pilot came on speaker: "Apparently during the wait for the replacement aircraft, two ladies got a bit too happy at the bar and they are unfit to fly to Dublin so we couldn't let them on the plane. Unfortunately that means that we have to locate their checked in luggage and offloaded before we can be on our way"

It ended up badly because it took the team over an hour to locate those suitcases and by then our crew couldn't fly due to overtime (since we had been scheduled to leave on the first slot).
