After encamping in the MH Golden Lounge for 6 hours, I wandered to the transfer desk and got my boarding pass printed.

Oddly enough it came with a Lounge Invitation to the Plaza Premium Lounge in the main terminal, so I returned to the MH lounge and had a light meal as I noted that the inbound flight had departed 1.5hrs late from CMB.

A cheeky Hennessy VSOP or three with some snacks, as I kept tracking the inbound flight.

The glass noodle salad was very enthused. Nice amount of chilli kick, but also adding some fried shallots and peanuts made this even better.

Mountains and low cloud near Seremban as we climb out of KUL.

The meal I went with was a Sri Lankan chicken korma with pickled veggies. Tasted absolutely divine.

A really enjoyable sector, this was my first flight with UL and I was really impressed by their service.

The menu being printed on A4 paper was a bit interesting and a sign of some of the struggles that UL have been going through, but other than that, absolutely no sign that the airline has been troubled.

We arrived at a remote stand and the guard simply checked my boarding pass and waved me through to the airside departure section of the terminal.

Into the Serendib Lounge for a shortened transit. A real gentleman's club vibe here, with nice cakes and a cracking sunset with a Glenlivet in hand.

The next flight to DXB is also delayed by 1 hour so I guess we'll see how we progress. Thankfully I am overnighting, to give myself a buffer.
