Yes, but I think the point csy was making is that those of us on non-EU passports but with residency are still going to be stuck in those non-EU queues unless they let us use the electronic gates.

At BCN there's supposedly a special set of machines for Brits (for exiting). They never work and there's always an agent waiting in a booth behind to check passports. At least we aren't stuck in the non-EU queue.
It's also about 50/50 whether they end up scanning my TIE or scanning my passport. At least now they don't seem to be filling up my passport with useless stamps...
