There were lots of other options with different times, I just picked the ones with the lowest fares to see what it priced out at. The pickier you want to get about your dates and times the more you narrow the gauge and yes, you may need to pay more for what you want. As you point out, it's a long ways off and there will be lots of 'sales' between now and then so if it were me I'd just keep looking at it over the course of time. Also, I priced going right in/out of MYR, which is a smally airport but saves the 2.5 - 3.5 hr drive both ways from the other cities mentioned, as well as the cost of same.
