agreed for IAD, but unfortunately ANA has pulled First from that route since the pandemic.
BOS makes a lot of sense as there's no competition from ANA or a US carrier, and KoreanAir and Cathay Pacific both make longer BOS flights work
San Diego is a great Hawaii alternative and popular leisure destination for Japan, plus lack of competition makes it easier for that route to succeed as well
