Its never fair to use Delta Mileage program as examples, as mileage earn rate had been decimated there. Then combine that to the astronomical redemption rates. As such, many members cant earn enough for a free ticket.

As for Alaska or Hawaiian side, its so easy to earn mileage. Keeping mileage program mostly for free ticket redemption currency is probably the best way to keeping the program value intact, in my opinion.

​​​​​….rocket miles redemption option….laughable, poor use of AS miles.
