My experience has been that the double points post as a total about two weeks after I return home. For an April holiday the bonus points for the outbound posted separately and I had to chase for the return flight bonus. They were added within a few days of my request.
OK thanks. That's strange as this first post was definitely not two weeks from return but exactly two weeks since outbound flown. I will wait until 2 weeks from return to see if there's another posting, and then chase if necessary.
