I checked my flight today (UA 135 ZRH - EWR) and FlightAware said it arrived at “Gate BHOLD”.
Flight not for a couple months - just thought I’d check.
As mentioned, default placeholder. Actual gate/terminal arrival info usually will not be known/shown until closer to arrival time. The gate is less important for international arrival, but terminal info can be helpful to facilitate your transfer process upon clearing immigration/custom.
Just refresh your UA app close to landing to grab the most up-to-date info.
