The U.S. version still provides Platinum status as far as I know. Many (if not all?) non-U.S. versions provide President's Circle, but there are additional benefits that are only available to Centurion holders in order to differentiate from the same status provided to Platinums. You can see a list of those extra benefits here: https://www.americanexpress.com/sa/n...vel/hertz.html. Some of them are quite useful, such as no one-way fees.
