Bought points but they haven't updated my balance 48hrs later
Hi all, I bought 36,000 points (18,000 base + 18k bonus) from Hilton to use on a redemption for next week, usually my balance is updated instantly but this time it hasn't been and it's past 48hrs. I called them and they referred me to some Loyalty Team, but the redemption I want to book is next Tuesday and they said probably 5-7 biz days response time. So I'm quite pissed to be honest, no compensation, no letting me just book it with cash then cancel. I know it doesn't mean much but I am Hilton Gold, and I do stay in them quite exclusively. They won't even waive the non-refundability of the points in this instance. The points come up in my points activity but my balance hasn't been reflected. Any advice?
