I would've pursued the refund if only for research to inform similar situations in the future, but to each their own I fully get.
I look at my opportunity costs (not just money ones). Generally not worth it - for ME - to pursue if expected payout is $200 or lower. I did ask 1K on an unrelated call. Agent did say refund should be due. But hold to be connected to a ticketing agent was too long, so I hung up.
