I’ve been surprised / intrigued for years that award searches return routings with change of airports in both DC and NYC. Only awards…never revenue. I actually once did a 40,000 mile F award from BOS-DCA/IAD-LAX-HNL. Seems cheap now. I was living in DC, so the logistics actually became helpful (ditching cold weather luggage for warm).
