Due to my suitcase and my back, I do not want to take the stairs in the metro station. So better take a taxi. For the W Barcelona I always travel easy with the Aerobus and take a taxi from the taxi stand at Plaza Cataluna or the bus.
Is there also a taxi stand at one of the L9 stations in the city f.i. Fira or Collblanc? It would be even easier when the taxi is already available. I have had sometimes a long wait when waving down a taxi, before there is a taxi available.
