United's IT is in general lightyears ahead of Alaska's. Delta is getting better and trying to catch up. AA is quite far behind but still significantly ahead of AS. AS's IT has so many legacy systems that look like a hobby project from the 90s. You can talk to any pilot that came from a LCC or even regional and they'll tell you how much worse AS is. If you think the consumer facing AS iOS app and site is bad, you should see what alaskasworld looks like. AA's jetnet, UA's flyingtogether, DL's deltanet are at least functional. Everything at alaska from block2block to core to image need overhauls, and needed it probably 5 years ago.
