Would a five-night, R&R-oriented stay be too long? Thinking about camping out here before heading north to Wadi Rum, Petra, and Amman. Due to flight schedules into AQJ, the only other viable option is a two-night stay (with a 9pm flight arrival, so really only one full day).

Alternatively, how good is the hotel as a base to visit Wadi Rum and/or Petra? I get that it's obviously better to stay in those actual locations, but if others have made the daytrip to either, curious to hear your experience and how much you feel you missed out by not staying overnight closer to the sites.
