We stayed for 4 nights as Gold members. Booked a family room with 2 Q beds and got one on the 5th floor. It was large and comfortable but WAY TOO HOT. No AC yet. The building is a green building and holds the heat. We made sure the heating was off, opened the window and went out for a few hours. When we got back (after dark) the room was about 85 degrees F. Even the hallway was quite warm. The very nice checkin guy moved us down to the first floor (almost the same room except it was wheelchair accessible, so had an open shower and lowered sinks etc, and was slightly smaller). Temperature was much more tolerable so we stayed there for the 4 nights we had booked (on points). We really liked the location, very walkable to the touristy areas we were going to, and plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants (especially liked the Doctors pub, and the Sandy Bells Pub with it's nightly folk music and good draught beer. The front desk staff were universally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet got old quickly but you could go to the bakery next door and get good coffee and a bun if you got tired of the main offerings. There was always plenty of fruit, muesli and yogurt too.
