We fly premium economy. Last month we flew AA connecting in LHR then flew on BA to VIE and it was confusing having to check in with AA and then with BA. That's why we would prefer to fly only on AA, but we would be willing to fly JAL.

Once we arrive in NRT or HDN, we need to get to Osaka for a few days stay. Not interested in flying again, we would prefer to take the train.

We fly AA twice every year. According to our account: "You need 26,201 more Loyalty Points to reach AAdvantage Gold" so we are the basic level.
