The majority of Mexico City will be without potable city provided running water, starting this evening 19 June 2024, from 8:00 pm until 2:00 am, for repairs. Find some extra jugs to hold water to flush the toilet, etc.

The areas in town, including Roma Norte, Condesa, Centro etc (mostly all of the city) which all uses the Cutzamala Water System, that will be shutdown for repairs. If your accommodations have a water storage unit, it should last overnight. If the repairs take additional time/into another day, the backup water may end up being depleted.

Here's the site which will provide information in case repairs are extended and you need more water. They will bring trucks to hand out water.
