The SIN flight is always enjoyable - virtually guaranteed 350, always great service (regardless forced or naturally), the catering is also stronger than what SQ has at least for J and W.
The T3 Silverkris lounge does not have any significant competitive edge over CX's anyway. And unless you're SPPS, forget about good service on the other side.
Possibly controversial opinion but I love flying in/out of T4 (maybe just sans the relatively long walk to/from the gate) - it's much faster and efficient than T123 and none of the gate security BS.
If you frequently do regional flights to 'less important' outstations such as Mainland China, KL, etc, you'll appreciate the differential 'effort' that CX puts in for SIN.
To put in perspective - this outport is so important that CX kept the crew base open. (I love flying with the SIN base too. And I love the SIN caterer as well! I could go on.)
