Hi, numbah, and welcome to Flyertalk! This thread is in the luxury hotels and travel forum. I doubt that you will find many luxury ryokan in Kyushu that meet your budget requirements. So you may want to delete your post above (Flyertalk rules prohibit double posting) and ask this question in the more general Japan geographic forum. For now, I am going to leave the post here just in case someone comes up with suggestions that are appropriate for this forum yet cost less than $600 per night.
