yes so if your LHR-MAD is rebooked due to the delay on the previous flight, you can then call and ask for it to be cancelled - after all you needed to be in MAD for a specific time. you will get a refund of the LHR-MAD, but don't expect much - i would be surprised if you got much more than £60.
