Today I finished up my 2nd stay here, stayed two nights with my girlfriend. Overall I was pretty happy with the stay. No material service failings, seemingly no upgrade, though I was happy with our room (51) with a good view and a short walk to both pools. The one service fail was I had called the front desk to request a bucket of ice (concierge hadn't texted me yet) and it never showed up. Followed up by text when we left for dinner and it was there as asked when we returned.
Re the tequila: the Komos Rose was in our room. Haven't opened the bottle yet, took it with us, so can't speak to the quality of it.
Chips, guac and baby Coronas were delivered on time as asked both days, I requested ~4pm when we checked in. Turn down service provided each night. One night they were very observant, we had gone down to the hot tub and ms. kk took one of the bathrobes to wear down. The turndown service occurred while we were out, and a few minutes after we got back, somebody was at the door to replace the water bottles and said here is 2nd bathrobe. I was completely confused until I realized housekeeping must have noticed only one of the two were hanging in the bathroom.

Yeah I didn't mind the continental as much as I thought I would. That said, I still think this hotel is on a path to think, how can we meet WA brand breakfast requirements while doing the bare minimum from a cost perspective. Answer is, a bunch of identical pre-cut fruit, a basket of pastries, and some yogurt/granola or oatmeal. I actually liked the granola, with the macadamia nuts and walnuts in it. Also, my birthday was the day of check in, and they brought out this french toast loaf for the occasion - which was very good.
