The cutoff for separately plated meals is 3900 miles. If its on a 46J 763 aircraft, all flights regardless of length will receives multi plated service. DUB-EWR uses a 764 and direct distance is only 3184 miles so multi plated service should not happen.
I understand the distance issue, however, if the flight is marketed at Polaris, then they should get the full Polaris treatment, including meal service. So the FA's will have to work a little harder.
