Option 1 - You can always settle the bill before the official check out, then if you can do an e-check out, then you would still get the 2nd night. I usually get an email saying I can do the check-out online just with a key drop.
Option 2 - Otherwise I'd ask the hotel and explain that you are leaving a night early but since you are paying for the 2 nights, could they credit the 2 nights. It's the hotel themselves that add the status nights.
