Would it speed things up if I booked wheelchair service for them? Would such a service be with them through immigration/luggage retrieval and recheck? Or meet them after immigration/customs to bring them to their new gate? Who would I contact to book such a service? They can walk, but not at a brisk pace. It’s the last flight to JAC for the day.

ticket booked through KLM.
Are your parents originating in AMS or somewhere else in the Schengen area?
Elsewhere, which prevents an earlier TATL.
Is there an earlier AMS-SLC flight (perhaps operated by DL) or are there alternate routings from AMS (or the city your parents originate in) to JAC with more comfortable layovers?
There‘s an earlier Delta flight to SLC, but that puts their connection in AMS at just an hour. And they would have to be at the airport at 4am. KLM said it couldn’t be changed to a Delta TATL.[/QUOTE]

For trying to rebook you'll have to work through KLM so you're at the mercy of how flexible they are with schedule changes. That said, it could be worth calling and asking an agent to change to a more favorable option. Simply express that you are concerned about being able to make the connection due to the mobility issues and the shortened connection due to the schedule change. You may be able to get a reroute to XXX-CDG-SLC-JAC with more favorable layovers or possibly ask for XXX-AMS the day prior with an overnight-Overnight layover at AMS and then take AMS-SLC-JAC the next day with the longer layover that avoids the early wake-up call (albeit, perhaps at the expense of a night at the point of origin), but again, being able to switch to any alternate options will be at the mercy of KLM and how flexible they are.
If the arrival time has changed, I can't see why KLM won't make the flight changes, as others have stated, be pleasant with the agent, they "SHOULD" be able to get the flight changed, to either JFK or ATL.
