Apparently yes, provided none of the Premier Qualifying Points (PQP) were earned before the status match period. From the Terms and Conditions (T & C) quoted in the wikipost:

The foregoing is from the wikipost. I just checked the original to make sure a "not" was not omitted from the final emphasized sentence but actually included in the T & C, and the quote is correct. It is subscriptions that are not included.
