rove312 Stranger Thank you both. It sounds like the best thing to do is to stick to whatever train time I choose now. I don't think I'd go for Executive but would probably go for Business since both our Rome-Venice and Venice-Milan trains will be late evening after full days exploring so we would like to be comfortable.

That said, if the fare difference between Business and Executive isn't that much, I may spring for Executive.
